Liz Jaquez (pron. HOCK-KISS) is an HSMAI Gold Adrian award-winning certified hospitality digital marketer and revenue generation executive. She began her career in hospitality in 2006 with Hyatt Hotels & Resorts at Hyatt Regency McCormick Place in operations management positions ranging from Events and VIP Services, to Front Desk, Quality Assurance, and Reservations. While progressing in operations management, she took on additional marketing duties as available while earning her Masters Degree in Integrated Marketing Communications from Eastern Michigan University, eventually driving social media & digital marketing to a new, full-time on-property manager position producing over $776k in new digital revenue from 2013-2016, independent of any agency supplemental media return.

In 2016, Liz joined White Lodging Services as a Senior Corporate Digital Marketing Manager overseeing digital strategy for a portfolio of 15 franchise urban lifestyle hotels, 10 restaurants, and 3 rooftop bars in the Austin and Chicago markets.

After 3 years and the successful opening of 3 new hotels and 4 new restaurant concepts, Liz was promoted to Corporate Director of Marketing with White Lodging in 2019. In this position, she oversaw a $6M+ marketing budget and digital strategy for 24 urban lifestyles hotels, 16 restaurants, and 6 rooftop bars in the Austin, Chicago, and Louisville markets and managed agency relationships and programs for the entire White Lodging portfolio of 90+ hotels including digital media, social, PR, web design/SEO, and brand field marketing programs. Liz was the go-to for White Lodging new builds and acquisitions overseeing the opening of White Lodging’s first Autograph Collection hotels, first Moxy branded hotel, first upscale steakhouse, and first rooftop pool and lounge with a private membership program. She also guided strategy and personnel development for 7 Field Marketing Managers and Coordinators and 1 Senior Corporate Marketing Manager. In 2019, she became Google Search Ads Certified.

Due to the impact of COVID-19 on the hospitality industry, the White Lodging marketing team was furloughed in March 2020, and during this time, Liz found a new home with Janko Hospitality as the Corporate Director of Marketing + Digital Strategy. In 2021, she earned her CRME and was promoted to VP of Revenue Generation overseeing all Sales, Revenue Management and Marketing/Digital disciplines for the organization including a field sales team of 25+ leaders.

In her free time, Liz enjoys spending time with her husband and 2 daughters, running long distances, and cultivating new talent in the hospitality industry as an adjunct faculty for DePaul University's School of Hospitality Leadership and Ivy Tech Community College.
